From math puzzles to geography to cracking the final code, each participant will have their moment to shine! All five of our scenarios have a variety of puzzles that incorporate varied skills so that everyone on the team has opportunities to contribute and opportunities to learn. Participants will need to lead and follow at different times, as well as communicate both out loud and on the screen. Our virtual escape room team building game is specifically designed to require coworkers to brainstorm, make decisions, take risks, and balance different viewpoints. Finally, the digital environment opens up a whole new world of puzzles not possible in real life. In our online escape rooms, each participant can play from wherever they are most comfortable. Also, some people feel scared or claustrophobic locked in a physical space. With no commute time necessary, it’s easy to fit our 60-minute team building exercise escape room into the workday. Virtual escape rooms have the added advantage of being more convenient for employees. It’s the perfect combination of intimate bonding with a company-wide event that everyone will love. At the end, we bring the whole group back together to announce the winners. Each team has a dedicated moderator guiding them through the game, giving hints, and making sure everyone is able to participate. We start everyone together to explain the rules, then divide large groups out into small teams that compete to finish first. Our virtual escape rooms are the perfect escape rooms for large groups because everyone gets to play the same game at the same time in one unified event. In-person escape rooms are limited by the physical size of the room and the number of rooms at the facility. It’s escape room teamwork at its best! Another advantage of virtual escape room team building is that we can host very large groups in a seamless and cohesive experience. With so many brains contributing different ideas, we can make our puzzles more challenging which enhances the team’s feeling of success at the end. While solving, players draw together on the screen to clearly articulate their ideas and follow their coworkers’ thought processes. In a virtual escape room, all participants can see the puzzles clearly on their own screen and brainstorm ideas together. It’s not possible for everyone to see the puzzle, let alone contribute to solving it. Picture an in-person escape room with 5-10 people hovering around one puzzle.

The biggest perk of an online escape room is that it’s easier for everyone to participate. Virtual escape rooms have some distinct advantages over in-person escape rooms, especially when used for team building.
